In other words, these are the offices of New Jersey car accident lawyers and auto accident attorneys. People also call them car crash lawyers or motor vehicle accident attorneys, and the work is the same.
Onal Injury Law publishes this page and is listed first. However, the numbers are only there to help you move around the page. As a result, they are not a ranking, and no firm paid to be included.
We built this list on 30 September 2026 from each firm's own website and re-checked it on 3 October 2026. Every firm listed here meets four criteria: an active New Jersey office, a published car or auto accident practice, plaintiff-side injury work, and public information we could verify. Many other firms also meet these criteria and are not listed, because we kept the list to a readable size with firms in every part of the state. We used only facts each firm publishes about itself. We did not score, rate or rank any firm, and a firm's absence is not a judgment about it. We re-check the list every quarter.
This is a quick view of where each firm has offices and one fact each firm notes on its own website. Select a firm to jump to its entry.

Office locations also come from each firm's own website as of September 2026. "Nearby" means an office in the same or a neighboring county.
Whichever firm you call, these rules also decide what your claim can include. However, they are simplified, and your own deadline depends on your facts.
First, your own Personal Injury Protection pays your medical bills after a crash, regardless of who was at fault. For that reason, report the crash to your own insurer quickly.
If your policy has the limitation-on-lawsuit option, you can sue for pain and suffering only if the injury is in one of six categories, for example a displaced fracture or a permanent injury.
Most New Jersey car accident lawsuits must be filed within two years. In addition, a claim involving a government vehicle or road generally needs a notice within 90 days.
You can recover if you were not more than 50% at fault. However, your award is reduced by your share of the fault.
If the other driver had no insurance, too little insurance or fled, your own UM/UIM coverage may also pay. Minimum liability limits on a standard policy are $35,000 per person and $70,000 per crash as of January 1, 2026.
Finally, contingency fees in New Jersey injury cases are capped at 33⅓% of the first $750,000 recovered, with lower percentages above that.
These questions also work for every firm on this page, including ours.
First, ask the firm to review your own auto policy, because it decides whether you can recover for pain and suffering.
Also ask who will deal with your own insurer on medical bills and the care-path rules.
Then ask whether the attorney you meet will be the one working your file.
In particular, ask whether the fee is calculated before or after case costs, and who pays costs if there is no recovery.
Finally, ask whether the attorney or staff will speak with you directly or through an interpreter.
Yes. Car accident lawyer, auto accident attorney, car crash lawyer and motor vehicle accident attorney all describe the same work. In addition, a law firm is simply the office those lawyers work for.

First, your own PIP coverage pays, regardless of fault. Then, if your injuries meet the rules, you may also have a claim against the at-fault driver.
Yes, if you were not more than 50% at fault. However, your award is reduced by your share.
Your own uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage may pay. For that reason, it helps to have your policy reviewed early.

This list of New Jersey car accident law firms is published by Onal Injury Law, which appears first and discloses that placement throughout the page. This is a directory, not a ranking, rating, award, endorsement or "best of" designation. In addition, the numbering exists for navigation only. Also, no firm is claimed to be superior to any other firm, listed or not listed. Every listed firm meets the stated criteria: an active New Jersey office, a published car or auto accident practice, plaintiff-side injury work, and a verifiable public record. Other firms that meet these criteria are not listed, and their absence is not a judgment about them. This list is not the product of an independent rating organization, and no firm paid for, requested or approved inclusion.

Do not act, or decide not to act, based on anything here without advice from an attorney who knows the facts of your situation. In addition, reading this page does not preserve any deadline or right. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Onal Injury Law represents injury clients on a contingency fee, so there is no attorney's fee unless there is a recovery. You may still be responsible for case costs and expenses, even if there is no recovery, as set out in your written fee agreement.
The statutes, deadlines, insurance rules and fee rules summarized here are simplified, were believed accurate when this page was last reviewed, and may have changed. Deadlines also have exceptions that can only be assessed on your specific facts. Therefore, never calculate your own deadline from a web page.
