This is a 2026 list of New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms that represent riders and passengers hurt in crashes. Each firm also has an active New Jersey office and publishes a motorcycle accident practice on its own website. In addition, the firms are grouped by North, Central and South Jersey.
New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms include Onal Injury Law, which publishes this list, and Davis Saperstein & Salomon, Maggiano DiGirolamo & Lizzi, Seigel Law, Scura Wigfield Heyer, Glugeth & Pierguidi, Clark Law, James Vasquez, Brach Eichler and Birkhold & Maider in North Jersey; Garces Grabler & LeBrocq, Stark & Stark, Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman, Team Law, Bramnick Grabas, Andrew S. Maze and Keefe Law Firm in Central Jersey; and Petro Cohen, Lipari & Deiter, Gelman Law, Console & Associates, Castellani Law, Puff Sierzega & MacFeeters, Ferrara & Gable and Grungo Law in South Jersey.
Each of these 25 firms has at least one active New Jersey office, represents injured people on the plaintiff side, and publishes a motorcycle accident practice on its own website. As a result, they have offices in 17 of the state's 21 counties.
In other words, these are the offices of New Jersey motorcycle accident lawyers and motorcycle crash attorneys. Several of them also explain on their own websites why rider claims work differently from car claims in New Jersey.
Onal Injury Law publishes this page and is listed first. However, the numbers are only there to help you move around the page, so they are not a ranking. In addition, no firm paid to be included.
First, on 3 October 2026 we reviewed the websites of 52 New Jersey personal injury firms. Then, every firm listed here had to meet four criteria: an active New Jersey office, a published motorcycle accident page, plaintiff-side representation, and public information we could verify. However, several firms that also meet these criteria are not listed, because we kept the list to a readable size with firms in all three regions. Next, we opened each listed firm's motorcycle accident page and used only facts the firm publishes about itself. In addition, we did not score, rate or rank any firm, so a firm's absence from this page is not a judgment about it. Finally, we re-check the list every quarter.
These tables give a quick view of where each firm has offices and what each firm notes on its own website. In addition, you can select a firm to jump to its entry.

New Jersey's no-fault system was built around cars, but motorcycles sit mostly outside it. As a result, that changes who pays the medical bills and what a rider can sue for, so it is worth asking New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms how it applies to your crash.
After a crash, get medical care first, even if you rode away. Then call the police so a report is made, photograph the bike, your gear, the other vehicle and the road, and keep the helmet and damaged gear exactly as they are.
This page covers motorcycle crashes. However, for other crashes a list built around that case type is more useful, because the firms and the rules differ.
First, we grouped the New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms by where their offices are, because most riders want a firm near home or near the crash. Each entry also uses only facts the firm publishes about itself, and the tags show which motorcycle topics each firm covers on its own website. In other words, we did not score or rate any firm.

The other driver is the usual defendant, but a serious motorcycle crash often involves more than one source of payment. In addition, many of the New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms on this list handle each of these situations.
Generally, claims run against the driver's liability insurance, often after a left turn, a lane change or a driver who says they never saw the bike.
When the driver had no insurance, too little insurance or fled, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage may pay.
Potholes, loose gravel and uneven pavement are more dangerous on two wheels. However, claims against a town, county or the state need a notice within 90 days.
For example, a failed tire, brake or helmet can support a product claim against the maker. For that reason, keep the bike and gear exactly as they are.
Also, under New Jersey's dram shop law, a licensed bar or restaurant that served a visibly intoxicated driver may share responsibility.
If the driver was on the job, for example in a delivery van or truck, the employer's commercial policy may also apply. For more, see our truck accident law firms list.
In fact, these questions work for every one of the New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms on this page, including ours.
Without PIP, bills can pile up quickly. So, ask how the firm will use your health insurance, any medical payments coverage and the at-fault driver's policy.
In particular, ask whether the firm has reviewed your motorcycle policy, any household auto policies and your UM/UIM limits, not just the other driver's coverage.
Adjusters and jurors sometimes assume the rider was reckless. Therefore, ask how the firm uses video, crash data and witnesses to answer that.
Usually yes. Also, ask the firm before the bike is repaired or sold, because it may show how the crash happened or whether a part failed.
Finally, ask whether the attorney or staff will speak with you directly or through an interpreter.
Generally no. Motorcycles are not covered by New Jersey's no-fault personal injury protection, so a rider's medical bills are not paid by PIP the way a car occupant's are. Instead, bills are usually paid by health insurance, optional medical payments coverage on the motorcycle policy, and in the end the at-fault driver's liability insurance.
Generally no. The verbal threshold, also called the limitation on lawsuit option, is part of the no-fault system that applies to car policies. Because riders fall outside that system, a rider's claim against the at-fault driver is usually not limited by it. Your household's insurance policies can still matter, so ask any firm to review them.
Yes. Under N.J.S.A. 39:3-76.7, every motorcycle operator and passenger must wear an approved helmet. Riding without one does not end a claim, but the other side may argue it made a head injury worse.
No. In general, New Jersey does not allow riding between lanes of traffic. However, a rider who was lane splitting can often still recover, because New Jersey reduces damages by each person's share of fault and only bars recovery when the rider was more than 50 percent at fault.
Generally two years from the crash under N.J.S.A. 2A:14-2. However, if a town, county or the state may be responsible, for example for a pothole or a road defect, a notice of claim is generally due within 90 days under N.J.S.A. 59:8-8.
In that case, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage on your motorcycle policy, or sometimes on a household auto policy, may pay. Also, report the crash to the police right away, because hit-and-run claims usually depend on a prompt police report.
Yes. A passenger can usually claim against the at-fault driver, and sometimes also against the motorcycle operator. In addition, passengers are subject to the helmet law and are generally also outside the PIP system.
Ask each firm before you meet, because policies differ. For example, the consultation with Onal Injury Law is free.
We think people choose better when they can compare. That is why we list ourselves first and say so plainly, describe other firms only with facts they publish, and correct any entry a firm asks us to fix.

This list of New Jersey motorcycle accident law firms is published by Onal Injury Law, which appears first and discloses that placement throughout the page. In other words, this is a directory, not a ranking, rating, award, endorsement or "best of" designation. In addition, the numbering exists for navigation only. Also, no firm is claimed to be superior to any other firm, listed or not listed. Every listed firm meets the stated criteria: an active New Jersey office, a published motorcycle accident practice, plaintiff-side representation, and verifiable public information. However, other firms that meet the criteria are not listed, and their absence is not a judgment about them. Similarly, the tags reflect what each firm publishes and are not a claim about the scope of any firm's practice. Finally, this list is not the product of an independent rating organization, and no firm paid for, requested or approved inclusion.
This page is general information, so it is not legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship with Onal Injury Law or any firm listed. Do not act, or decide not to act, based on anything here without advice from an attorney who knows the facts of your situation. In addition, reading this page does not preserve any deadline or right. Also, prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Onal Injury Law represents injury clients on a contingency fee, so there is no attorney's fee unless there is a recovery. You may still be responsible for case costs and expenses, even if there is no recovery, as set out in your written fee agreement.
The statutes, coverage rules and deadlines summarized here are simplified, were believed accurate when this page was last reviewed, and may have changed. In addition, insurance coverage depends on the exact policies involved. Therefore, never calculate your own deadline or coverage from a web page.
Information about other law firms comes from those firms' own public statements and other public sources, is provided in good faith, and may contain errors or become outdated. However, nothing here is a statement about any firm's quality or results. Also, all firm names and marks belong to their owners, and inclusion does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of or by Onal Injury Law. Any listed firm may request a correction, update or removal of its entry by contacting us, and then good-faith requests are honored promptly.
This page is provided "as is," without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose. In addition, the publisher is not responsible for decisions made or deadlines missed in reliance on it.
